Dr. Scott Stein, current El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame President would like to announce the sad news of the passing of Alicia Hernandez, the mother of 2017 Hall of Fame Inductee Ronnie Hernandez.
Mr. Hernandez is a nationally renowned basketball referee in his craft and attributes many of his great life accomplishments to his “Mom”.
Current El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame President Dr. Scott Stein said, “Ron is not only well known in basketball and football circles, but also as a teacher, a coach, and a mentor to the hundreds of his student-athletes over the years. We all express our condolences to him and his family in this difficult time.”
Mrs. Hernandez, age 96, was always there for her children and loved the Sun City along with her many years of dedicated service to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

9:30 a.m. (Mass) (followed by burial at Ft. Bliss Cemetery)
