Another sad day for all those that knew Dennis Devine in hearing the horrible
news of his passing on Friday, November 11, 2022.
El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame President Dr. Scott Stein, a Hall of Fame Inductee
said, “Dennis served as secretary for the Hall of Fame for many, many years and
was always a true professional and a very quiet and thoughtful person.”
Dennis Devine was an outstanding bowler and a longtime member of supporting
the bowlers and their rich traditions here in El Paso, Texas.
The Hall would like to express our condolences to his wife, Martha and their entire family. Mr. Devine’s friend Ruben R. Ramirez, another Hall Inductee, said of Mr. Devine, “Dennis was a Godly man who served his church for over 30 vears.”
A Rosary Service will be held for Dennis Devine at 6:00 p.m. on Monday,
November 14th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1315 Travis St. in central El Paso followed by a Mass at 7:00 p.m. and a small reception at the school’s gymnasium where food and beverages will be served.
