Congratulations to Wayne Thornton on the re naming of Grandview Senior Center to Wayne Thornton Community Center at Grandview on December 15, 2023 in a ceremony attended by El Paso Mayor Oscar Lesser, members of the Junior League of El Paso and many other friends, special guests and City Representative Alexandra Annello.
Thornton spent 43 years with the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department and retired in 2020.
